Hello all,
I am wondering if it is possible to create a custom recovery disk, that includes:
--boot up files
--additional drivers for NICs
--path to the recovery location
--credentials to access the path
--and a way to get it going with minimal user interaction
Here is the situation. I have a client that purchased a couple of thousand laptop/tablet that do not support PXE boot. (not my choice in hardware) So the devices all need to be identical. So my idea is to create an image of a default system; then I can get a group of desktop guys to just boot these devices with a USB boot device, with the symantec SRD, but with some if not all of the options mentioned above. I have been able to create the bootable media with the following:
--boot up files
--additional drivers for NICs
BUT I am missing the remaining three...
--path to the recovery location
--credentials to access the path
--and a way to get it going with minimal user interaction
...in advance, thanks....
